From simple, ingenious objects, to advanced, pioneering technology, Improving life demonstrates how turning an innovation into reality requires both creativity and the ability to recognise the everyday needs of users.

In a globalised world with an almost overwhelming flood of products and services design is a crucial factor in the development process and designers are involved from the concept stage to the finished product. Improving life showcases innovative products from a range of companies including, Volvo Cars, SonyEricsson, Bahco, DeCell, Dignitana, Neonode, Perific, Baby Björn, Tetra Pak, Electrolux, Jolife, and Husqvarna.
