Stories from the Field
DESIGN 21: Social Design Network launches a new competition with the brief to design the official logo for Stories from the Field: The United Nations Documentary Film Festival.
Stories from the Field is presented by Media Communications Association International, New York Chapter (MCA-I NY) in partnership with the United Nations Department of Public Information (UNDPI) and The New School.

The festival showcases documentaries by various UN or UN-affiliated agencies as well as by the public. For a film to qualify it must address one or more of the United Nations' eight Millennium Development Goals.

Until now, Stories from the Field has used variations of the logos of MCA-I NY and the United Nations. The object of the competition is to design a logo that represents the festival itself.

The judging panel, to be announced, will consist of distinguished designers and representatives of MCA-I NY and UNDPI.

Once again, members of DESIGN 21: Social Design Network will get to vote online for their favorite entries; the Most Popular entry will win $500 and gains a spot in the final round of judging.

The overall winner will receive US$5000
Entries close Monday 26 November 2007
