Entries are now invited for the 2013 Josephine Ulrick and Win Schubert Photography Award.
Now established as a key exhibition in the contemporary art calendar, the annual exhibition of selected finalists is a reflection of current national practice in still photography.
Thanks to the assistance of The Josephine Ulrick and Win Schubert Foundation for the Arts, the winner receives a $20,000 prize and their work is acquired by Gold Coast City Gallery. A further $10,000 is available for additional acquisitions.

2013 Judge: Anne Noble – NZ photographer, New Zealand Arts Laureate and Professor of Fine Art at Massey University.
Anne Noble is Professor of Fine Arts (Photography) at Massey University, Wellington, New Zealand. She is one of New Zealand’s most respected photographers and is the Australia and New Zealand curator for the 2013 Photoquai Biennale. Her work is widely exhibited in Australia and internationally in France, Germany, New Zealand, Spain and the United States and is held in numerous international collections. In 2003 she was awarded the Order of Merit for services to photography in New Zealand. She has travelled to Antarctica on fellowships from Creative NZ and the US National Science Foundation.
