Fantastic Fibers is an international competitive exhibition that showcases a wide range of outstanding works related to the fiber medium. Fantastic Fibers 2013 is hosted by the Yeiser Art Center, in Paducah, the home of the National Quilt Museum.

Awards
A minimum of $1,750 in cash awards will be given by the jurors. Awards will be made in the following amounts:
- First Place $1,000
- Second Place $500
- Third Place $250

25 January: entry deadline
11 February: accepted artists notified
29 March: accepted entries due
6 April: opening reception –Yeiser Art Center, 5-7pm
4 May: pick up hand-delivered work
7-8 May: return shipped work
Specifications
Contemporary and innovative works created with fiber as the primary medium are welcome. This exhibition is open to all artists 18 years and over working in the field of fiber art. All work submitted must be original, completed in the last three years and not previously exhibited in a Fantastic Fibers exhibition. There are no size restrictions.
Entering
Entries are now submitted solely online through this website. If one or more of your entries should be accepted into the show you will receive subsequent instructions on final presentation. To get started, create a free account, log in and click the “submit a photo” link on the left navigation. Credit card payment only. Deadline for online entries is midnight on 25 January 2013.
No more than five entries may be submitted by any artist. A non-refundable entry fee of $12 per entry for up to five entries is required.
Entries submitted via email or through standard mail to the Yeiser will not be accepted.
Notification and Accepted Entries
All entries selected for exhibition will be posted to the web site by 11 February 2013.
Accepted entries must be shipped prepaid to the Yeiser Art center and include a prepaid return shipping label. Additional instructions will be sent to accepted entrants.
All accepted artists will receive a CD catalogue with all accepted entries.
