Applications are now open for the International Design & Communication Awards (IDCA). The IDCA Awards celebrate excellent design and communication initiatives across the art world. They also encourage art organisations to find creative and innovative ways to communicate.
Open to cultural institutions around the world, the awards have set up eight different categories, from visual communications to brand strategies. Applications are open to museums and galleries, foundations, biennales, art centres and other visual arts organisations. Freelancers, advertising and design agencies can also enter under the name of the museum or institution they have worked for with their prior consent.
The IDCA awards applications are open until 30 April 2012. More information at www.agendacom.com/en/idca_awards/
The awards will be presented during Agenda’s 12th Communicating the Museum conference in New York. The ceremony will be held at Christie’s at the Rockefeller Center on the evening of 28 June.
The winning projects will be showcased at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York on Friday 29 June.
The 2012 IDCA awards are presented jointly by Agenda and L’Ecole Parsons à Paris/Paris College of Arts.
