Young designers looking into the future 2013 (“Jeunes créateurs, à vous de voir”): an international competition organised by Lunetiers du Jura, the French Professional Association of Jura Eyewear Manufacturers.
1 – 100 ans (from 1 to 100 years old)
We’re not all born with glasses in front of our eyes but we’ll all age with a pair on our nose. The function is the same but the context, behaviour and habits are different in every way. Choose the right end of life for you and offer it the very finest eyewear.
This contemporary theme should allow future designers to highlight their specific skills, in stylistic terms of course, but also their ability to anticipate as well as their capacity to question and revisit the elements that make up the product in all its dimensions. The quality of this holistic vision and the reasoning behind the design propositions for the projects will be a key element in the Jury’s evaluation and selection.
