The 2013 Restaurant & Bar Design Awards is now open for entries. The competition seeks submissions from the world’s leading architects, interior and lighting designers and hospitality operators.
The Awards, now in their fifth year, are the only international competition exclusively dedicated to rewarding the best food and beverage spaces from around the globe, in all types of sectors including hotels, transport, business, education, leisure, government, aviation, cruise and retail.
The 2013 awards are open to projects launched or renovated between the 1st January and 31st December 2012. There are 21 categories, including canteen, identity, lighting and pop up, and all work must be entered as a collaborative submission from both the designers and the relevant hospitality operator.
When can I enter?
All entries must be submitted online by 14 April 2013. Shortlisted projects will be announced on 24 June 2013. Award winners will be announced at a ceremony and party in central London in late September 2013.

Entries that are accepted are liable to a £110 + VAT per entry administration fee (there will be an early bird rate of £80 +VAT for those entered online before 1st February 2013).
Winner 2012, Australia & Pacific category
In 2012, the winners in the Australia & Pacific category were Baker D. Chirico March Studio for the new simple and elegant fit-out by March Studio for Baker D. Chirico in the heart of Melbourne’s Carlton.
