Watercolour, botanical drawing, 'Eucalyptus incrassata', paper / canvas, painted by Agard Hagman, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, 1888

Watercolour on canvas backed paper in scale 3 to 1. The drawing shows a branch with green leaves highlighted with white, several brown leaves, a cluster of brown gumnuts and 6 clusters of white and green gum blossoms. The name of the species of the plant is underneath the drawing and it is signed by the artist in the lower left corner and near the end of the branch. All text is in black.
Production notes
The watercolour was painted by Agard Hagman in Sydney in 1888.
History notes
The artist was commissioned by the museum to make drawings and watercolours of plants and engineering subjects, 1886-1889.
