Posters were a major component of the Sydney 2000 Olympic and Paralympic promotional package. Over 25 different designs were produced. This group of nine posters incorporates abstract and literal applications of the official logos, colours and graphic elements developed to create the memorable Sydney 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Games 'look'. They feature the Paralympic Games logo, the Sydney 2000 text logo, and the Sydney 2000 logo and 'fluid energy' graphic which featured prominently in various colours and applications (including as enlarged abstracted graphic elements), on Games merchandise, publications and signage such as banners and barriers, and indeed on all aspects of the Games promotional package. The "Team Millennium Olympic Partners" poster lists the worldwide partners for the Games and expresses how significant their support is in bringing 'alive the dreams of each Olympic athlete'. It also identifies and promotes the two major Sydney 2000 Olympic and Paralymic Games slogans - "Supporting the Dream" and "Sharing the Spirit".
